Electrical items include everything from battery operated appliances to everything you plug into electrical sockets. If your electrical item is in good working condition you may be able to sell items to a second-hand shop. Charity shops often accept some items and appliances but it is advisable to check with them first. Your local Council offers a bulky household waste collection service for larger items, contact them to arrange collection. Also, consider hiring specialist tools or equipment for one-off jobs, or if you already own the items let friends and neighbours know you are willing to share.
